Saints Row: The Third Remastered is now free on the Epic Games Store

To celebrate the reveal of the series’ reboot, Volition has announced that Saints Row: The Third Remastered is going to be available for free until September 2nd, building hype for the franchise. 

Saint’s Row’s reboot will be released on February 25th, 2022, and this free game promotion will help draw PC gamers into the franchise. Saints Row’s reboot will be an Epic Games Store exclusive on PC, just like Saints Row: The Third Remastered was at launch. 

Currently, Saints Row: The Third Remastered is available for free on the Epic Games Store alongside Void Bastards and Yooka Laylee. However, the latter two games will no longer be available for free after 4 pm BST today, being replaced by Automachef, which will be free until September 2nd. 

Saints Row: The Third Remastered is one of the stronger remasters of recent years, dramatically uplifting the original’s visuals while retaining the same gameplay as before. Saints Row: The Third is still a great game in 2021, and its remastered version brings the game’s visuals up to date with updated models, textures, materials and a new lighting system.
