A new sign is here that the release of the highly anticipated sequel to Starcraft is coming ever closer. Blizzard has announced the opening of the beta testing sign-ups. In order to claim your chance at getting an early look at the game, simply log into your Battle.net account, go to the Beta Profile Settings page and go through the opt-in process, which involves uploading a “snapshot” of your system specs. You will also be able to opt-in for future beta tests for other Blizzard games, the most notable at the time being Diablo III.
Obviously, should you have a beta key from BlizzCon 2008 or WWI 2008, you’re automatically in. Simply enter your code at this page.
So, when’s the action start should you get in you ask? According to a conference call Kotaku had with “Blactivision,” things are going to be kicking off in the summer.
