Sonic Mania is currently available for free on the Epic Games Store

For the next week, both Sonic Mania and Horizon Chase Turbo will be available for free on the Epic Games Store, giving PC gamers access to two high-speed experiences to enjoy. 

Sonic Mania barely needs an introduction. If you have been gaming anytime during the past 30 years, you will have heard of Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic Mania is a game that’s designed to recapture the look and feel of Sonic’s original 2D art style, operating as a smooth 60 FPS to deliver stellar visuals with that classic Sonic look. If you are a fan of Sonic, you have to pick this up, assuming that you don’t already own Sonic Mania. 

Horizon Chase Turbo is a game that is inspired by classic 80’s/90’s racing titles, acting as a tribute to the arcade racers of old. The game’s simplistic visuals really pop at high resolutions and should give you a huge nostalgia kick if you were gaming back in the 80’s/90’s. 

Both of these games are worth picking up if you enjoy classic 90s titles. Both games are redeemable on the Epic Games Store for free until July 1st, after which The Spectrum Retreat will be made available for free on the storefront.
