This texture pack will make The Witcher 3’s NPCs and Armour sets look better than ever
Yes, The Witcher 3 is a great looking game already, but it was designed at a time where high-resolution 4K screens were not readily available, and 1080p screens and monitors were commonplace. Since then, PC and console hardware have marched forward, and many of The Witcher 3’s textures do not hold up well on higher resolution screens. This is where Halk Hogan steps in.Â
Halk Hogan’s The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project is a must-have mod for The Witcher 3, offering high-resolution textures across most of the game to deliver gamers a higher-fidelity gaming experience. If you game at 1440p or 4K, this mod is something that you’ll need to look into, as it updates the game’s textures and models to make the game look sharper than ever while having a minimal performance impact. Â
Version 12 of Halk Hogan’s The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project is in the works, and this version of the mod will be focusing on NPCs, clothing and armour. This mod will allow both major and minor NPCs to look better in-game, something which will be immediately noticeable during dialogue and cutscenes.Â
Right now, Halk Hogan hasn’t set a release date for version 12 of The Witcher 3 Enhanced Project, but a preview of his work can be viewed below. Watch this video in fullscreen mod to see the full impact of this mod’s updated textures. Version 11.0 of Halk Hogan’s The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project is currently available to download on Nexus Mods.Â
