Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 coming to Steam

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 is coming to Steam next month

Activision has announced that their HD remake of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & Pro Skater 2 will soon be releasing on Steam, breaking the game’s Epic Games Store PC exclusivity.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 will be coming to Steam on October 3rd. Like the game’s existing Epic Games Store version, this HD remake will feature an uncapped framerate, HDR support, FOV options, ultrawide display support, and support for 4K+ screen resolutions.

The PC version of Pro Skater 1 + 2 is highly regarded, and it is great to see the game recieving a wider release on Steam. Below is what Activision had to say about the game on its Steam page.

Play the fully-remastered Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater & Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 games in one epic collection, rebuilt from the ground up in incredible HD.

Skate as the legendary Tony Hawk and the original pro roster, plus new pros. Listen to songs from the era-defining soundtrack along with new music. Hit insane trick combos with the iconic handling of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater™ series.

Play all the original modes and go head-to-head with local 2-Player modes. Show off your style and creativity with upgraded Create-A-Park and Create-A-Skater features. Compete against players from around the world in Multiplayer modes and leaderboards.

The good news for PC gamers is that Activision’s Pro Skater remake is easy to run on PC. The game’s system requirements recommend GPUs from 2015. Those graphics cards are ancient by today’s standards. If you own a gaming PC that is by any means modern, you will be able to run Pro Skater with ease. At this time, it is unknown if Pro Skater 1 +2 will be Steam Deck Verified.
