Ubisoft reveals UPLAY subscription service for PC
This subscription service is only available for PC, but it will be coming to Google’s Stadia platform in 2020. When subscribed, PC gamers will be given access to premium editions of Ubisoft games, which include all of each game’s DLC and -post-launch content as it arrives. Subscribers will also be given access to betas for upcoming titles.Â
With this service, PC gamers will be given access to the top editions of Watch Dogs: Legion and Ghost Recon: Breakpoint at launch, with both games having early access periods for owners of the game’s premium editions, which are included with UPLAY. Ghost Recon: Breakpoint’s Ultimate Edition costs $120, which is equivalent to eight months of UPLAY, over which time gamers could play multiple titles which are available on the service.Â
UPLAY will become available on September 3rd, 2019, but early subscribers to the service will be given free access to the service between September 3rd and 30th. Gamers can choose not to renew their subscription after this date to take advantage of the service at launch without paying a penny. Â
