Crucial brings higher capacities and speeds to its P2 lineup with 1TB and 2TB models

Crucial has just expanded its P2 SSD lineup, offering PC builders new high-capacity models to fill up their entry-level NVMe SSD lineup. These SSDs utilise QLC NAND, offering users excellent value for money, especially given their SATA surpassing speeds.

These new 1TB and 2TB SSD models offer higher speeds and storage capacities than their 250GB and 500GB counterparts, delivering gamers the storage capacity that they need to store an extensive library of titles.

All of Crucial’s P2 series SSDs ship with five-year warranties, and when compared tot heir P1 series counterparts, the P2 series offers purchasers faster sequential read and write speeds, more than earning their new P2 designations.

When comparing their 2TB models, Crucial’s P1 M.2 SSD offered purchased sequential read/write speeds of up to 2,000MB/s and 1700MB/s respectively. With the P2, Crucial offers 2400MB/s sequential read speeds and sequential write speeds of up to 1900 MB/s.

Crucial’s P2 series of SSDs are due to start shipping to retailers soon, promising users “All the speed you need at a price that won’t break the bank.” The table below details the specifications and pricing of Crucial’s P2 series.
