Hogwarts Legacy will have extensive support for ray tracing

Hogwarts Legacy will have a lot of ray tracing options on PC

Hogwarts legacy, the open-world wizarding RPG set in the Harry Potter universe is due to launch on February 10th on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5, allowing fans of the franchise to enter the magical world and become a student of the world’s premiere school of witchcraft and wizardry.

On Twitter, Warner Bros Games has confirmed that Hogwarts Legacy will support ray tracing, which will be available in the form of ray traced ambient occlusion, ray traced shadows, and ray traced reflections, all of which will be toggleable options on PC.

With support for such a wide range of ray tracing effects, Hogwarts Legacy should be a great looking game on PC and current-generation consoles, though at this time it is unknown if all of these effects will be available in Hogwarts Legacy’s console versions.

Recent leaks for Hogwarts legacy have suggested that the single-player RPG’s main quest will be around 35 hours long, and that the game will have additional content through optional quests, puzzles, and other side activities.
