Now’s a great time to buy a cheap SSD

If SATA’s too slow for you, Crucial’s 500GB P1 SSD is now available for £54.57, offering read speeds and write speeds of up to 1,900MB/s and 950MB/s respectively over a PCIe 3.0 M.2 interface. While this is much more expensive than Crucial’s BX500 SATA drive, it offers a boost of over 3x in sequential reads, which will be more than worth it if your PC has a spare M.2 slot.   

While the Crucial P1 is a QLC-based SSD, it still offers users great value for money.
