Cooler Master’s CMODX Custom PCs are incredible

At CES 2023, Cooler Master has showcased desktop PCs that are unlike anything else, pre-built desktops that are as much modern art as they are functional gaming PCs.

Through CMODX, Cooler Master plans to create custom PCs that are split into three categories. These categories are Be Excellent, Be Different, and Be Creative. Within Cooler Master’s Be Different category at CES are their new Shark X and Sneaker X systems, both of which can contain powerful Mini ITX PCs that support modern processors and GPUs that are up to 335mm long.

Cooler Master’s Shark X system is based on a case from Cooler Master’s Case Mod World Series, a system called “Leviathan” from Inony. The Shark X is designed for modern PC components and has been engineered to support a Mini ITX motherboard with an 120mm AIO liquid cooler, and graphics cards up to Nvidia’s RTX 4090 or AMD’s RX 7900 XTX. This isn’t just a gimmicky PC case, it is a PC case that support ultra high-end gaming/content creation systems.

Cooler Master’s Sneaker X design comes from the PC modder JMDF, supporting Mini ITX motherboards, graphics cards that are up to 335mm long, and AIO liquid coolers that are up to 360mm in size. Like the Shark X, the Sneaker X can be used to create powerhouse PCs that can deliver extreme levels of gaming performance and creation performance, making these PCs an interesting blend of both form and function. Both of these cases are designed with upgradability in mind, and the unorthodox nature of these case designs ensure that they will be turning heads long into the future.

Through CMODX, Cooler Master are creating PC designs that go boldly where nobody else has gone before. Cooler Master are branching out and they are willing to put themselves on the map by creating products that nobody else can. These cases are thoroughly Cooler Master and their absurdity has me smiling from ear to ear. Cooler Master wanted to show the industry that they have raised the bar for innovation, and they have.
