As always the Corsair iCUE software is simple to use and as easy or powerful as you want it to be. On the settings page you can disable the voice prompts and we’d highly recommend this is the very first thing you do.

There is room for five EQ presets on the headset, with five built in to the Void Elite. You can toggle which of them you’d like. We always go down the ‘find one that works in all scenarios’ option, because a good headset should respond to all situations without needing constant tinkering.

As you would expect from a Corsair product the RGB options are plentiful, from effects guaranteed to give passers by a seizure to subtle shifts or even connecting the headset to the rest of your Corsair products for a holistic lighting setup.

Lastly on the right you can see the button that toggles between 7.1 and stereo audio, as well as fine tuning your microphone volume and the amount of sidetone – hearing your own voice through the headset when you speak – you get.
