Clock Speeds
The Core i5-13400 balances both the peak clock speed when you’re really placing heavy demands on it, with a quick drop-off of clock speed down to something that helps your energy bills whilst also keeping the temperatures nice and low, something we’ll show off at the end of this review. We’re testing with our usual DDR5 Z790 platform, which is somewhat overkill for the new Core i5, but we want to be able to compare it properly.
