X470 vs X570

We know that many of you will be wondering about the benefits of the latest AMD Chipset and how it works with the PCI Express 4.0 if everything is designed for that. As we said on our test setup page we don’t consider the PCI Express 3.0 bandwidth is saturated by anything on the market yet. However, to make sure that everyone is clear regarding the comparison here is a special setup just comparing the Ryzen 9 3900X on both X570 and X470 platforms (Crosshair VIII Hero and Crosshair VII Hero respectively). Testing on our regular GPU rig hasn’t affected the scores at all.
