AMD starts giving Away Star Wars Battlefront with new AMD R9 Fury GPUs, but sadly not with their flagship model the R9 Fury X.

Dice has been known for being AMD Friendly for a long time now, being the first developer to fully embrace and implement their Mantle API, so it is expected that AMD GPUs will deliver the best experience in Star Wars: Battlefront.

Both GPU vendors have Game ready GPU drivers for this release, so it will be very interesting to see whether AMD or Nvidia come out on top here.

Right now the game costs £49.99 to purchase, meaning that you will be getting a Game which equates to around 10% of your GPUs value, a great offer to say the least.

Right now AMD R9 Fury GPUs cost between £400 and £450, which with this game is super competitive with Nvidia’s GTX 980, especially since this game is expected to be friendlier to AMD hardware.

We will be testing Star Wars Battlefront as soon as it launches on both AMD and Nvidia hardware, so you can look forward to seeing some performance results soon enough.
