Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has been revealed

Sledgehammer Games is launching Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III on November 10th

It’s official, this year’s Call of Duty will be Modern Warfare III. Activision has released a teaser for their latest entry in the Call of Duty series, confirming that the game will be launching on November 10th and that the game will be coming from Sledgehammer Games.

This year’s entry will be a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, which saw Captain Price’s Task Force 141 team up with the Mexican Special Forces to dismantle a terrorist threat lead by Hassan Zyani.

Sledgehammer Games is the studio who was behind Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Call of Duty: WWII, which means that Modern Warfare III has not been developed by Infinity Ward. Sadly, not much has been revealed about the game at this time.

The reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has put to rest rumours that Activision’s Call of Duty series was taking a break in 2023, confirming that gamers will receive a new Call of Duty game this year and that the game will be a sequel to Modern Warfare II. This means that the game will include a single player campaign and the series’ iconic multiplayer component.
