MSI AM4 B350 Tomahawk and X370 XPOWER Gaming Titanium shown at CES

Right now AMD has not announced when Ryzen will hit the market, though they are expected to launch within the next few weeks or months, bringing a new eight-core AMD CPU to the market with 16-threads and performance per clock that is similar to current Intel offering.  

We can see above MSI’s X370 Gaming Titanium, with a beefy overclocking ready power design with large heatsinks and 8+4pin CPU power. This motherboard comes with MSI’s reinforced DDR4 DIMM slots and PCIe slots, with dual M.2 slots and USB 3.1 front header at the base of the motherboard. 

This will be the first MSI Gaming Titanium series AMD motherboard, bringing a modern enthusiast-grade overclocking motherboard to AMD’s lineup, offering monumental upgrades when compared to AMD’s aging AM3+ lineup.  

Both above and below we see MSI’s lower end B350 series motherboard, which comes with one of AMD’s lower-end AM4 chipsets but still boasts a boatload of features like M.2 support and VR-ready USB ports. 

Judging by this motherboard’s large heatsink it seems that this motherboard will be overclocking ready, though at this time we do not know it AMD plans on locking overclocking to just their flagship X370 chipset. 

We expect to hear and see more from AMD and other motherboard manufacturers as CES continues, especially at AMD’s live event at 2pm GMT tomorrow, where AMD are expected to officially announce their Vega lineup of GPUs.
