AMD will reportedly be releasing Vega as part of the RX 500 series

Right now it is rumoured that AMD has created both a high-performing Vega 10 GPU and a lower performing Vega 11 GPU, both of which are expected to make up the high-end of the RX 500 series. On the low-end, AMD is expected to launch refreshed versions of their new Polaris designs, using an optimised 14nm design and offering increased efficiency over the RX 400 series.    

Right now it is rumoured that the RX 560 will be using AMD’s Polaris 11 design, with all CU’s unlocked and running at either a lower TDP or higher clock speeds. Vega 11 is expected to replace Polaris 10, though at this time design details of this GPU have not been confirmed. 

At GDC 2017, AMD is expected to make several new GPU announcements at their Capsaicin and Cream event on February 28th. Let’s hope we will learn more about Vega at or before this event.
