ASUS have announced their new ROG Swift PG27VQ Quantum Dot G-Sync display, which comes with TN-like response times while delivering improved colour reproduction over IPS.

This 27-inch display will come with a 165Hz refresh rate, a thinner bezel design and an 1800R curvature, making this display ideal for a panoramic multi-monitor setup. Combine this with its fast 1ms response time and it also becomes an idea gaming display, not sacrificing any image quality for such a fast response time like TN displays.

The PG27VQ will also be ASUS’ first display to offer Aura-compatible illumination, with RGB LEDs on the rear of the panel that will match the glow of the rest of your PC.

With a Quantum Dot Display, G-Sync, a resolution of 1440p and a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz, this display is easily ASUS’ best 1440p monitor to date. Right now ASUS has not released this displays pricing, but it will release in Q3 2017.
