SEGA hints at Vanquish PC release with their latest Bayonetta PC patch

SEGA has further hinted at a PC release of Vanquish PC release with their latest Bayonetta PC patch, bringing a new Vanquish Avatar to the game’s files.

Platinum Games has made it clear that they would love to release more of their back catalogue on the PC platform, with development hinging on the permission of each game’s publisher. Vanquish was released in 2010 exclusively on console platforms, receiving a lot of praise from both gamers and critics alike.

Ever since Vanquish was originally released on consoles, PC gamers have been crying out for the game to be released on their chosen platform. On consoles, the game was also limited to 30FPS gameplay which again could be improved using more powerful PC hardware.

Releasing Vanquish on PC is an easy way for Platinum Games and SEGA to make some money, bringing this older title to a new audience with enhanced visuals and a higher performance target of 60FPS or higher. Creating a PC version of this game seems like a no-brainer, as the idea of an easy profit alone should be enough to ensure the game’s development on PC, especially after the success of Bayonetta’s PC release.
