Alphacool releases their Eiswolf GPX-Pro and NexXxoS GPX water coolers for AMD’s RX Vega

Alphacool has now launched a variety of RX Vega compatible water cooling solutions that are usable with both AMD’s RX Vega 56 and 64 reference designs.

The company has also improved their backplate with what Alphacool calls a “side shield” which protects your RX Vega’s PCB from dust buildup and enhanced thermal performance. Alphacool will also be offering Vega upgrade kits for their existing NexXxos cooler owners, as their water blocks are designed to be easily switched onto newer cooler designs.

The NexXxoS GPX Vega Version now offers an improved backplate with a side shield to cover the PCB. This also improves its cooling performance, since heat is distributed more evenly over the front connection. If you use a graphics card with a NexXxoS GPX cooler and want to switch over to an AMD Vega, you’ll be happy to hear about the corresponding upgrade kits for your cooler.

Alphacool will release several versions of their Vega GPX cooler, offering an Eiswolf version with a built-in pump and a pre-filled All-in-one water cooling loop. Alternatively, there is the NexXxoS GPX version that lacks a pump but comes with a pre-filled or standalone version to be integrated into standard water cooling loops or into existing Alphacool liquid cooling loops via quick disconnects

Alphacool’s core design here is a water block that is placed on custom PCB, VRM coolers that are partially cooled via its connected water block and with a passive aluminium cooling fin-stack.
