To kick off this sale, Humble has decided to give away free copies of “The Flame and The Flood” for free on the storefront over the next two days, giving PC gamers access to a Steam copy of a $15 game which can be played on both Windows PC and Mac.
Below is a brief description of this rogue-lite game, where players must forage, craft and survive in a hostile environment. We have also embedded a trailer for the game within this article.
A rogue-lite river journey through the backwaters of a forgotten post-societal America. Forage, craft, evade predators.
From the Art Director of BioShock and a team of veterans of the BioShock, Halo, Guitar Hero and Rock Band series comes The Flame in the Flood.
Travel by foot and by raft down a procedurally-generated river as you scrounge for resources, craft tools, remedy afflictions, evade the vicious wildlife, and most importantly, stay ahead of the coming rains.
Below are The Flame and The Flood’s minimum PC system requirements for Windows, which are nigh identical to the game’s OSX requirements, aside from the change from a DirectX 11 GPU to an Open GL 4.1 video card.

Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 7 64 bit (requires 64 bit OS)
Processor: Dual Core Processor, 2.5 GHz or higher
