Age of Wonders III is currently available for free on PC

Age of Wonders III is a turn-based 4X game which is based in a fantasy setting, bringing Civilization-like gameplay alongside a turn-based battle system which takes place on a secondary hex-based map. The game released in 2014 and is currently playable on Windows, MacOS and Linux, offering both single player and multiplayer modes. Campaign modes and randomised maps are available as well as competitive and co-op multiplayer. 

Later this year, Triumph plans to release Age of Wonders: Planetfall, offering the same 4x gameplay with a new sci-fi setting, updated graphics and six unique factions. Age of Wonders: Planetfall releases on August 6th.
