Playdead Studio’s Limbo is an indie classic, exploding onto the Xbox Live Arcade in mid-2010 to later find success on every major gaming platform, from the PlayStation 3 through to Xbox One and PC. Now, Limbo is available for free to PC gamers, granting newcomers to the game a great opportunity to play this atmospheric platformer.
This free game offer comes via the Epic Games Store and applies to the Windows version of Limbo, with the game’s Epic Games Store page lacking any references to the game’s Linux and macOS versions, both of which are available on Steam.
Limbo will be available for free from Epic until July 25th, after which both Moonlighter and This War of Mine will be available for free on PC. Epic Games has committed to giving away free PC games every week in 2019, with next week being the first time that two games are on offer.
