Shenmue 3 will receive a trial version this September

Deep Silver and Ys Net have announced that Shenmue 3 backers will be gaining access to a free trial for the game this September, granting them access to a short act of the game that takes place in Bailu Village. 

This act will take around one hour to play, but offers those with access plenty of room for replayability, containing plenty of activities to participate in outside of the main story. 

The free trial will be available in the second half of September via PlayStation 4 and the Epic Games Store. The trial is exclusive to Shenmue 3 backers on Kickstarter and Slacker, which means that more recent pre-orders will need to wait for the full game to release later this year. 

Shenmue 3 will release on both PlayStation 4 and PC this November, skipping over Microsoft’s Xbox One series consoles. More information about Shenmue 3’s backer trail is available here.
