AMD’s Radeon Image Sharpening is coming to Vega
Today, AMD has confirmed that Radeon Image Sharpening will come to the company’s RX Vega 56/64 graphics cards and the Radeon VII later today through the company’s Radeon Software 19.9.3 drivers. Radeon Software 19.9.3 will release later today and ship with day-0 support for Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
With this move, AMD has reaffirmed its commitment to its graphics card users over the long term, extending support for new features to older architectures whenever possible. The same has applied to technologies such as FreeSync 2 and Radeon Anti-lag. Hopefully, we will see AMD continue to respond to fan feedback in such a way, with support for Integer Scaling being another highly anticipated feature.
