Resident Evil 3’s Demo will launch this week on PC, PS4 and Xbox One
At this time, it is unknown what content Resident Evil 3’s demo will sample on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It has also been confirmed that an open beta for Resident Evil 3’s multiplayer mode, Resident Evil Resistance, will be available on March 27th.
The pre-release demo for Resident Evil 2’s remake released with a timer and the ability to play through the demo’s content once. These limitations may also apply to Resident Evil 3’s demo version. However, it is worth noting that PC gamers had quickly learned how to circumvent this limit by modifying the demo’s game files.
With this demo releasing later this week, Resident Evil 3 will likely receive its full PC system requirements this week on Steam. These requirements are likely to be very similar to Resident Evil 2’s system specs, though Capcom may have higher-end graphics options for Resident Evil 3 players.
