Gears 5 is currently available to play for free on Steam

Until April 12th, Microsoft’s Gears 5 will be available to play for free on Steam, allowing PC gamers to play through the entirety of the game’s campaign and access the title’s multiplayer game modes. 

This offer is part of Microsoft’s Xbox Free Play Days promotion, a feature that’s normally exclusive to Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass Ultimate members. However, this time, PC gamer have free access, requiring no subscription or payment. 

Thanks to this offer, now is the perfect time to blitz through Gears 5’s campaign or test out the game’s multiplayer content. PC gamers can even enjoy the game’s new Operation 3 Gridiron update, which introduces a new game mode that’s similar to Capture the Flag.
