Ubisoft brings Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s release date forward to launch with Xbox Series S/X

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will now be released on November 10th on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Stadia and Xbox Series S/X. This change allows Ubisoft to launch Assassin’s Creed Valhalla as an Xbox Series S/X launch title.

Previously, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was due to release on November 17th on PC, Xbox One, Stadia and PlayStation 4. Now, gamers on these platforms can expect to play the latest Assassin’s Creed title one week earlier.

Xbox One owners of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will also be able to upgrade to the game’s Xbox Series X/S version for free whenever they upgrade to one of Microsoft’s next-generation systems. At this time, it is unknown what framerate or graphical benefits next-generation systems will offer with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, aside form faster loading times.
