– Update – Epic Games has claimed that the issue is now resolved.

PC gamers are currently struggling to log into the Epic Games Store, with many users reporting outages online while fans of Fortnite report “Invalid Client” errors.

Epic Games has confirmed that they are “ aware of an issue with logging into Epic Games accounts”,  but this fix remains unavailable at the time of writing.

Downtime for the Epic Games Store has restricted access to many of the store’s exclusive titles, such as Rocket League, Fortnite and Kingdom Hearts’ recently released PC ports. Worse still is Oddworld: Soulstorm, which is due to release today as an Epic Games Store exclusive. Login issues with the Epic Games Store will limit Oddworld’s day-1 sales potential on PC, which is bad news for both the Epic Games Store and Oddworld Inhabitants, the game’s developer.

PC gamers can only wait for Epic Games to address their login issues, though, at this time, Epic Games has no eta for a fix.
