Control is now available for free on the Epic Games Store

Remedy’s Control is now available for free on the Epic Games Store, giving PC gamers free access to one of Remedy’s best games to date and one of our favourite games of 2019. 

For owners of DXR compatible graphics cards, Remedy’s Control highlights some of the industry’s best uses of real-time ray tracing to date, delivering incredible visuals for those with the right hardware. Even without ray tracing, Control is a looker, explaining the game’s high hardware requirements. 

Control will be available for free until June 17th at 4 PM BST, and PC gamers should take advantage of this offer. Gameplay-wise, Control is a third-person game that is built using the Metroidvania formula. Combat includes both gunplay and physics-defying abilities, all of which look visually spectacular. For the low cost of free, Control is a game that is worth trying. 

Next week, Epic Games has confirmed that Hell Is Other Demons and Overcooked! 2 will be available for free on the Epic Games Store next week, starting on June 17th at 4 PM BST.
