EK CEO “Addresses Current Situation” in new video

EK calls for “patience and support” in new CEO video

If you have been following our coverage of EK, you will know that things aren’t looking good for the company. Several top employees have left the Slovenian liquid cooling company in recent weeks. Additionally, EK has been facing ongoing financial challenges and has been unable to pay its employees on time. You can read more about this topic, and how it has impacted EK staff here. Now, the CEO of EK has responded to the company’s “current situation”.

Days after the release of an expose on EK by Gamers Nexus (video embedded at the base of this article), EK’s CEO released a video titled “EKWB CEO Edvard Konig Addresses Current Situation & Commitment to EK’s Future Stability.” In this video, Konig outlines his commitment to securing EK’s future stability. Furthermore, he has stated that he is “committed to resolving all outstanding payments” and will “ensure that every person and partner is paid in full.”

EK CEO begs for sales

In the video above, EK Water Blocks’ CEO asks the PC community for their “continued patience and support” as the company works through their ongoing challenges.

More directly, Konig says that “your continued support through choosing our products helps us move forward.” EK needs its customers’ continued support to navigate its ongoing challenges. To put it another way, EK needs its customers to keep buying its products so that the company can work to set things right.

This leaves us with a question: Should you buy from EK Water Blocks or move to a new water-cooling brand? EK claims to be making strides towards a stable future, but can it rely on fans’ continued support and trust given their current situation?
