God of War Ragnarok is now Steam Deck Verified

Yes, you can play God of War Ragnarok on your Steam Deck

God of War Ragnarok is now available to play on PC, and Valve has officially given the game “Steam Deck Verified” status. This means the game is fully playable on Valve’s portable gaming system, running without issues and with stable performance.

Thanks to the game’s PC release, God of War Ragnarok now has an official handheld version. That means that PC gamers can enjoy the game on the go, either using a Valve Steam Deck or alternative PC handhelds like the ROG Ally.

Santa Monica Studio and Jetpack Interactive claim to have “worked extensively” to bring the game to PC handhelds. This is what has allowed the game to become Steam Deck Verified so soon after launch.

We know many of you are eager to play God of War Ragnarok on the Steam Deck. We’re happy to share that it is verified and available to be enjoyed on Steam Deck as we’ve worked extensively to optimize performance and deliver the best possible experience on this device.

We are currently testing the PC version of God of War Ragnarok and plan to release a PC Performance Review for the game soon. This will include optimised settings for the game. Additionally, we will be giving gamers other tips that will help them to achieve higher framerate in this new PlayStation PC hit.
