Noctua reveals plans for Chromax Black NF-A14x25 G2 fans

Noctua fans won’t have to wait long for black NF-A14x25 G2 fans

Noctua has released standalone versions of their new NF-A14x25 G2 140mm PC fans, and PC enthusiasts are asking, “where is the chromax black version?” Now, we can confirm that Noctua plans to release Chromax Black versions of their new 140mm fans in Q1 2025. This means Noctua fans will not need to wait long for all-black versions of the company’s latest 140mm fans.

Currently, Noctua appears to have no plans to release a Chromax Black version of their new NH-D15 G2 heatsink. Such a heatsink isn’t on the company’s current hardware roadmap. That means that Noctua fans shouldn’t expect to see an all-black NH-D15 G2 launch anytime soon, if ever.

Are you wondering if Noctua’s planning to create white fans? If you are, prepare to be disappointed. While Noctua previously showcased White Chromax fans, the company removed them from its hardware roadmap earlier this year and put their development plans “on hold.”

If you don’t like Noctua’s standard brown/beige colour scheme, rest assured that black Chromax versions are coming. You will have to consider other options if you want RGB lighting or other colour options.
