Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be playable on Steam Deck
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is coming to Steam on October 17th with Steam Deck support
Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be playable on Valve’s Steam Deck handheld when it becomes available on Steam on October 17th. Until now, the game has only been available through Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store, two storefronts that are not native to Valve’s Steam Deck platform.
Sadly, the game will not be listed as “Playable” on Steam Deck on day-1. Ubisoft has stated that the game will become officially listed as “Playable” soon after release. However, Steam Deck users should be able to play the game on their handhelds as soon as the game releases.
Will I be able to play Assassin’s Creed Mirage on my Steam Deck? The game will be playable on Steam Deck, though it will at first be in the “Unknown category” at launch. The “Playable” Steam Deck label will come soon after release.
Sadly, Assassin’s Creed Mirage required Ubisoft Connect to function on PC. This means that Steam users will need a Ubisoft Connect account to play Mirage when it becomes available on Steam. The same requirement is in the Steam versions of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Skull and Bones, and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
Recently, Ubisoft revealed that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be available on Steam on day 1.
