Xbox promises game reveals and more at their Partner Preview
Microsoft’s hosting their latest partner preview on October 17th
This week, Xbox will be hosting their latest Partner Preview event, where 3rd parties will be sharing the latest news about the games that are coming to Xbox. Microsoft has confirmed that this event will include new game reveals. Furthermore, we will see release date announcements and over a dozen trailers over the event’s 25-minute runtime.
This partner preview will be on October 17th at 10 am PT, 1 pm ET, and 6 pm BST. The event will include the participation of partners like Remedy Entertainment, Sega, 505 Games, and others. Confirmed games include Alan Wake 2’s The Lake House expansion and Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
We’re thrilled to announce the next Xbox Partner Preview – our no-fluff, all-games broadcast – is coming this Thursday, October 17. In the latest installment, we’ll feature a mix of new and upcoming games for you from incredible partners like Remedy Entertainment, Sega, 505 Games, and many more, with over a dozen new trailers over the course of around 25 minutes.
During Xbox Partner Preview, you’ll get a first look at gameplay from Alan Wake II’s next expansion, The Lake House, an action-packed new trailer for Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, a peek at multiple bosses in dark-fantasy action game Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, multiple world premieres, and other great titles coming to Xbox consoles, Windows PC, and Game Pass.
As always, Xbox Partner Preview is all about sharing exciting games news from our talented partners across the globe: you’ll get new game reveals, release date announcements, and fresh new gameplay from upcoming games. And to sweeten the deal, during the broadcast, Xbox Wire will post exclusive behind-the-scenes stories about select titles shown.

Note that this Xbox preview event is a “Partner Preview”, not a first-party Xbox event. This means that we should not expect to see any games from Activision Blizzard, Xbox Games Studios, or Bethesda at this event. This also means that all games at this event are coming to non-Xbox platforms, including PC and PlayStation. That said, Microsoft may have timed exclusivity agreements for some titles at this event.
