Noctua’s giving its G2 cooling lineup a Chromax Black refresh

Noctua plans to release its NH-D15 G2 Chromax Black this year

Noctua has confirmed that it plans to start releasing new Chromax Black G2 series products this year. This new Chromax product range will begin with the company’s Black NH-D15 G2 CPU cooler, along with its accompanying NF-A14X25 G2 and NF-A14x25r G2 fans. These products are due to be launched in Q4 2025.

These new products will offer Noctua fans stealthy black cooling options. This is great news for PC builders who do not lack Noctua’s standard brown/beige colour scheme. Noctua’s new Chromax series products will deliver similar performance to their standard counterparts.

Initially, Noctua’s Chromax Black NH-D15 G2 was scheduled for release in Q2 2025. It is unknown why this product was delayed until Q4.

In Q1 2026, Noctua plans to release Chromax Black versions of its NF-A12X25 G2 fans. These fans will be released one quarter ahead of Noctua’s planned all-in-one liquid cooling lineup.

(Noctua Roadmap – September 2025)

Noctua’s new hardware roadmap also included a Noctua Edition Pulsar Feinman mouse, all-in-one CPU liquid cooling solutions, and Antec’s Flux Pro Noctua Edition PC case. Note that this roadmap contains Noctua’s intended release timeframes. Products on this list can be delayed until later quarters.
