Noctua schedules CPU liquid cooler launch for Q2 2026

Noctua plans to launch its first CPU liquid cooling solutions in 2026

Noctua has updated its hardware roadmap, confirming that it plans to launch its planned CPU liquid cooling solution in Q2 2026. The company showcased prototypes of its new all-in-one CPU liquid coolers at Computex 2025.

At Computex, Noctua confirmed that its first-generation CPU liquid coolers would utilise Asetek’s Gen 8 V2 pump. However, Noctua plans to deliver improved cooling characteristics. Specifically, Noctua aims to provide lower noise levels, making their coolers quieter than their competitors.

With its new liquid coolers, Noctua plans to release models with 240mm, 360mm, and 420mm radiator size options.

To enhance the acoustic performance of its liquid cooling solution, Noctua has developed a multi-layer barrier to absorb sound waves and silence Asetek’s Gen 8 V2 pump. Noctua’s solution uses three layers of soundproofing and a floating silicon mount to lower noise levels. This lowered pump noise by an average of 5.7 dB(A), dramatically lowering noise levels.

Noctua has also taken other measures to lower noise levels. The fans on their liquid coolers, which are Noctua’s new NF-A14x25 G2 and NF-A12x25 G2 fans, do not run at identical RPMs to prevent resonance. This optimisation lowers fan noise while maintaining performance.

Finally, Noctua’s liquid cooling solution features an optional fan that can enhance airflow to your motherboard’s VRMs, system memory (RAM), and nearby M.2 SSDs.

Noctua’s new hardware roadmap also included a new Chromax Black version of its NH-D15 G2 CPU cooler, a Noctua Edition Pulsar Feinman mouse, and Antec’s Flux Pro Noctua Edition PC case.
