Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live is about to start
Gamescom 2026 has arrived, and Geoff Keighley is getting ready to host Opening Night Live, one of the year’s premier gaming events. Gamers can expect trailers, closer looks, and deep dives into a wide range of upcoming games, with many heavy-hitting franchises having confirmed appearances.
The event starts at 7 PM BST, which translates to 11 AM PT, 2 PM ET and 8 PM CEST. CD Projekt Red has confirmed that The Witcher 3’s Songs of the Past Expansion will be showcased at the event. However, gamers should know that The Witcher 4 will not be showcased, at least this year.
Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, Final Fantasy VII: Revelation, Gears of War: E-Day, and Metro 2039 will all be showcased tonight. Gamers can also expect to see world premieres, exclusive announcements, and more at this year’s event.
The event starts at 7 PM BST, though the event’s pre-show will start earlier at 6:30 PM. The entire event will last around two hours. If you add the pre-show, it’s 2.5 hours.
