Fanatec unveils its Podium DD wheelbase and Pedals
Fanatec unveils its latest Podium series products at SimRacing Expo 2025
At SimRacing Expo 2025, Fanatec has unveiled its new Podium DD direct drive system and its new Podium Pedals. At its exhibit space, Fanatec highlighted its partnership with Kunos Simulazioni, which used Fanatec’s stage to unveil Assetto Corsa Rally.
Fanatec’s new Podium DD replaces the company’s Podium Wheel Base DD2, and acts as an evolved form of the brand’s popular ClubSport DD and ClubSport DD+ systems. The Podium DD offers 25Nm of torque and features Fanatec’s FullForce technology. Note that this new Podium DD system features an all-aluminium internal and external structire and revised electronics. This new direct drive system acts as Fanatac’s new flagship product, with a broader dynamic range and stronger internal construction. This enables more detail and clarity from the wheel base’s FullForce effects.
Alongside the Fanatec Podium DD, Fanatec unveiled its all-new precision pedal set. This new pedal set was developed in collaboration with drivers and features forged aluminium brake pedals and a 200 kg load cell. These pedals will be available in a standard three-pedal form and as a 2-pedal “Formula” variant with carbon fibre faces and heel cups.
At SimRacing Expo 2025, Fanatec is supporting GIANTS Software with its Project Motor Racing demonstrations, highlighting the brand’s partnerships and collaborations with game makers. New projects from iRacing Studios are also present at the Fanatec stand.
Fanatec’s new Podium series products are due to launch in Q1 2026. Pricing for these products will be unveiled closer to launch. Note that all of these new products will launch with a 3-year warranty in all regions.
