Affordable V-Cache – AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D CPU spotted!
AMD has a new Zen 4-powered X3D CPU on the horizon
It looks like AMD is getting ready to greatly expand its X3D CPU lineup. Last week, AMD’s Ryzen 7 9850X3D and Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 CPUs leaked. Now, a new lower-end Zen 4-based X3D CPU has surfaced. Meet the Ryzen 5 7500X3D.
@momomo_us spotted this new Ryzen CPU on X, and this CPU has appeared at the UK retailer Westcoast. The CPU seems to be a 6-core Zen 4-based processor. Essentially, this CPU looks like a lower-cost Ryzen 5 7600X3D CPU with slightly lower clock speeds. Sadly, exact specifications for this CPU remain unconfirmed.

The 7500X3D will give entry-level AM5 users a chance to utilise AMD’s X3D technology. AMD’s X3D gaming CPUs feature enlarged L3 cache pools, greatly accelerating gaming workloads by keeping more data on-chip. Note that the 7500X3D should feature 96MB of L3 Cache, the same amount as AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D.

Sadly, it is unknown how widely available this new X3D CPU will be. Will it only be available in specific regions? Will it be exclusive to OEMs and System Integrators or specific retailers? I guess we will find out when AMD officially unveils this chip.
