PUBG: Black Budget – What you need to know
What you need to know about PUBG: Black Budget
Krafton and PUBG Corp have officially revealed PUBG: Black Budget, a new extraction shooter built around “tension, survival, and the unknown.” The game will have a “closed alpha test” next month on PC, and players can apply to join the test now on Steam.
This closed alpha test will run over two weekends from December 12th-14th and December 19th-21st. The test will run without an NDA, allowing players to share, stream, and discuss the game freely. Below is what PUBG Corp has to say about the game.
Designed as an FPP-first experience, PUBG: Black Budget is a tactical extraction shooter built around tension, survival, and the unknown.
You are a Contractor, a hardened veteran hired for a classified operation on an island at the edge of the world. Your mission is to recover top-secret technology from an abandoned research facility. But there’s a catch: the island is trapped in a time loop, consumed by a supernatural phenomenon known as the Anomaly. Extract artifacts, research your findings, and uncover the truth behind the black-budget initiative, SAPIENS.
In between missions, you’ll expand your personal Base, craft new equipment, and improve your character’s skills and proficiencies. Prepare to face PvPvE threats in an environment that grows more unpredictable with every loop – and the longer you stay, the harder it is to make it out alive.

PC system requirements
The good news for PC gamers is that Black budget’s hardware demands aren’t absurdly high. GPU-wise, the game calls for a Radeon RX 6600 or an 8GB RTX 2060 or better. Neither of those GPUs is high-end by today’s standards. Furthermore, the game’s storage requirements are a mere 30GB, which is very low. Hopefully this means that the game will run well on PC at launch.
