Thermal Grizzly launches its TG Caliper Tool for DIY PC work
An affordable set of calipers for your PC DIY needs
Measuring devices are very important for DUY PC builders. Will X component fit in Y PC case is a question we are often asked. While a standard ruler is good enough for some measuring tasks, it’s hard to beat a good set of calipers. Today, Thermal Grizzly have launched their affordable TG Caliper, a tool for all of your PC DIY measuring needs.
Yes, these aren’t ultra high-end calipers, but they are very affordable at $11.58/€9.90. These calipers are made from high-hardness ABS and measure to 0.1mm of resolution. Their maximum measuring length is 150mm (6 inches). The tool’s zero function makes it easy to measure the distance between two measured values. It can also be switched between inches and millimetres with ease.
What more can I say? It’s a simple tool that will get the job done. It is well packaged (see below), and ships with two batteries. It supports external, internal, step, and depth measurements and is IP55 rated. Note that this device uses LR44 batteries.
Whether you are measuring radiator clearance, tubing diameter, or thermal pad thickness, the Thermal Grizzly TG Caliper will get the job done. If you want a simple tool from a trusted PC enthusiast brand, this is it. With an asking price of €9.90, this device gives us nothing to complain about.
Thermal Grizzly’s TG Calipers are available now from the Thermal Grizzly store.
