HAVN goes next level with its XR 1000W Platinum A++ PSU
HAVN’s entering the PSU market, and it’s taking its job ultra seriously
If there is one thing to say about HAVN, it’s that “good enough” isn’t a phrase in the company’s vocabulary. HAVN is a relative newcomer to the PC market, but its BF 360 (review here) and HS 420 (review here) have set a high standard to live up to. At CES 2026, HAVN confirmed it’s entering the PSU market with its XR 1000W Platinum A++, and it aims to be what a high-end power supply should be.
With its die-cast aluminium top and decoupled H-series fan, HAVN has optimised its air intake to deliver strong airflow and exceptionally quiet operation. With noise performance of under 15 dB(A) and a Cybernetics A++ rating, this is one of the quietest PSUs available. Good luck finding a room quiet enough to hear this PSU running.
Below is what HAVN’s Product Manager, Roland Gschwender, had to say about the XR series’ acoustics;
The XR Series represents our vision for what a modern high-end PSU should be.
It’s built for absolute stability, exceptionally silent operation and platinum efficiency, giving builders total confidence even in the most demanding systems.
With dual 12V-2×6 outputs, this PSU is ready for any high-end PC workload. While this is a 1000W PSU, Cybenetics is ready for whatever PC configuration users throw at this PSU.
In terms of efficiency, this PSU has a Cybenetics Platinum rating. This is more efficient than most standard PC power supplies. In 230V regions, this rating gives the PSU an overall efficiency of 91-93%.
Major focuses of the HAVN XR 1000W A++ is 12V rail stability and strong transient response. HAVN wants minimum variations during rapid load changes and low voltage deviations on its 12V rail. With this PSU, HAVN aims to deliver rock-solid stability, exceeding industry norms in key areas. As I’ve said before, HAVN isn’t planning to launch a PSU that’s merely “good enough”.
HAVN plans to launch its XR 1000W Platinum A++ power supply in Q2/Q3 2026. This PSU will be available through HAVN’s global retail partners and system integrators.
