Antec’s Vortex View is a CPU cooler with a HUGE screen
Antec has just launched its new Vortex View 360 CPU liquid cooler, featuring an adjustable 5-inch LCD screen and LED backlighting. With its new pump design, this cooler promises to run cooler and quieter than older liquid cooling solutions.
The Vortex View is available in Black and White. Both models feature a 360mm radiator and are cooled by three non-RGB 120mm fans. Antec has invested in premium fans for these coolers to ensure strong performance. In other words, Antec didn’t want their screen to be the only selling point for this new liquid cooling solution.
9th Gen Asetek pump
Antec’s Vortex View CPU cooler is among the first to use Asetek’s 9th-generation pump design. This platform supports up to 400W TDPs and promises improved thermal performance over the company’s 8th-generation designs. With reduced vibrations and higher thermal efficiency levels, this platform should make Antec’s new AIO’s cooler-running and quieter than solutions using Asetek’s 8th generation pumps.
Antec claims that Asetek’s 9th-generation pump is 30% quieter than its predecessor. That’s great news for those who want quieter systems.
