The Original God of War Trilogy is getting a Remake
TC Carson will be returning as Kratos in the new God of War Trilogy Remake
Sony Santa Monica has confirmed that it is remaking the original God of War Trilogy. The studio is currently in the early stages of rebuilding God of War, God of War II, and God of War III for modern platforms. While no release platforms have been unveiled, it is likely that this remake will launch on PlayStation 5 and arrive later on PC.
TC Carson will be reprising his role as Kratos. This will be the first time Carson has voiced Kratos since 2013’s God of War: Ascension. Since 2018, Christopher Judge has taken over the role, playing a much older version of the character in God of War (2018) and God of War: Ragnarok.
Below is PlayStation’s first teaser for their God of War Trilogy Remake. So far, no gameplay for the project has been showcased.
The original trilogy remade
We’re thrilled to confirm that the original God of War trilogy is being remade – and what better way to announce it than with the legendary TC Carson who brought Kratos to life in the Greek saga!
This project is still very early in development, so we ask for your patience as it will be a while before anything else can be shared. When we can come back with an update, we aim to make it a big one!
Right now, this remake is in “very early development”. That means that gamers can expect a long wait before hearing about this project again. Santa Monica Studios has stated that when they update gamers on their progress, they will make the update “a big one!”
