Nvidia fixes overclocking and Resident Evil Requiem issues with GeForce Hotfix 595.76

Nvidia addresses overclocking concerns and other issues with their latest GeForce Hotfix

Nvidia has officially released its GeForce Hotfix 595.76 driver, a new driver version that addresses GPU overclocking issues and other problems raised by Nvidia’s GeForce 595.71 driver.

With their GeForce 595.71 driver, overclockers found that their GPUs suddenly became unstable. Voltages were capped, preventing GPUs from boosting to expected levels, resulting in reduced GPU performance and/or system instability. Nvidia’s new hotfix aims to address these issues.

Additionally, Nvidia’s new driver addresses the “white glowing light/dots” issue when subsurface scattering is enabled in Resident Evil Requiem. Furthermore, this new Hotfix improves path-tracing performance in the game.

With Nvidia’s GeForce 595.71 driver, Star Citizen players found that their game clients crashed at launch. Nvidia’s new GeForce 595.76 hotfix should address this issue.

GeForce Hotfix Display Driver version 595.76 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver 595.71.
