Nvidia launches its DLSS 4.5 SDK for game developers with 6x and Dynamic Frame Generation support

Nvidia’s new DLSS SDK delivers 6x Frame Generation and Dynamic Frame Generation to game developers

NVIDIA has officially released its DLSS 4.5 SDK, giving game developers direct access to the company’s newest Super Resolution and Frame Generation technologies.

With their newest update, developers have been given access to DLSS 5x and 6x Multi Frame Generation alongside Dynamic Frame Generation. This allows game developers to integrate these technologies directly into their games. Right now, these features are only available through DLSS Overrides on the Nvidia App.

Nvidia has also confirmed that their new SDK also includes new documentation and sample code that should help reduce integration time and make it easier for developers to use DLSS on their projects.

NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 SDK With Dynamic Multi Frame Generation Now Available For Developers

The new DLSS 4.5 SDK adds support for DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Multi Frame Generation 6X.

The DLSS 4.5 SDK provides direct access to the latest Super Resolution and Frame Generation updates. Built on Streamline, the SDK offers a consistent integration path across DLSS features, allowing developers to selectively adopt capabilities like Ray Reconstruction or Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. Updated APIs, documentation, and sample code help reduce integration time and make it easier to bring DLSS into both new and existing projects.

While Nvidia’s DLSS Overrides are useful, nothing beats a direct game integration. Enabling these features in the Nvidia App can be a chore. Furthermore, not all games with DLSS Frame Generation support 5x, 6x, and Dynamic Frame Generation through DLSS Overrides. Nvidia’s new SDK will help bring the company’s newest DLSS features to new games. That’s great news for Nvidia, and all RTX GPU users.
