Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 now has a free Demo on Steam

It’s time to obliterate some heretics – In the name of the Emperor!

To celebrate today’s Warhammer Skulls gaming event, Auroch Digital has released a free Steam Demo for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun II, their new retro-styled Warhammer FPS.

PC gamers can now try out this new “boomer shooter” ahead of the game’s launch later this year. The demo includes two complete levels, with both being playable as Malum Caedo, a formidable Space Marine Sternguard Veteran, or Nyra Veyrath, a Sister of Battle.

This free demo includes multiple difficulty levels, several in-level secrets, and new enemies that weren’t present in the first game. New players should get a good idea of what to expect from the game, and players of the first game should see what’s new with Boltgun II.

Lock in as either Malum Caedo or Nyra Veyrath and experience two of the new levels from Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 ahead of its launch later this year.  

Face the untamed wilds of a Death World and explore an overgrown mangrove swamp swarmed with deranged Nurgle daemons and cultists. But enemy forces aren’t the only dangers you’ll need to watch out for in this level…

In our second level, embark through a frozen battlefield and visit an icy Imperial facility overrun with the forces of Chaos. There you’ll battle the new Khorne enemies – if you dare to break the ice! 

Between two playable characters, multiple difficulties, and several secrets to discover, we hope you enjoy the demo for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 and look forward to hearing your feedback!

Unlike the first game, Boltgun 2 will feature the forces of all four Chaos Factions. This should increase gameplay variety, as each faction has unique units and tactics.

Boltgun II’s free demo is available now on Steam. The full game is due for release this year. Sadly, the game doesn’t currently have a firm release date.
