IO Interactive unveils the first 13 minutes of 007 First Light gameplay
IO Interactive releases the first 13 minutes of 007 First Light
007 First Light is coming to PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5 on May 27th, and IO Interactive has released the first 13 minutes of the game. This gameplay is for the opening mission of 007 First Light. If you want to avoid spoilers, stop reading this article and don’t watch the video below. That’s a warning.
The gameplay video below showcases James Bond before he became 007. Bond is on a helicopter that gets shot down by hostile forces. After sneaking onto a location in Iceland, Bond’s mission is quickly taken over by MI6, who ask Bond to gather information and to sneak further into the base.
The short gameplay demo showcases strong visuals and a vibe similar to Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes. Gameplay-wise, this opening had a lot of Uncharted-like sneaking, crouching, and climbing. The gameplay video is short, but it highlights how this game is nothing like IO Interactive’s Hitman series.
This gameplay is just a glimpse at 007 First Light. The game will feature a variety of locales, ensuring a large variety of gameplay environments. If you want to see some of these environments, just look at the game’s launch trailer below.
