Modern upscaling arrives in PUBG Battlegrounds with DLSS and FSR

Nvidia DLSS 4.5 and AMD FSR 4.1 have arrived in PUBG Battlegrounds

With update 43.1, the PUBG X Jujutsu Kaisen update, PUBG Battlegrounds now supports modern PC upscaling solutions. With DLSS 4.5 and FSR 4.1 upscaling, PUBG Battlegrounds can now offer PC gamers stronger visuals and improved graphics performance, which is a win-win for gamers.

DLSS and FSR have replaced the older, lower-quality upscaling options available within PUBG. Gamers can choose their upscaling quality manually, or let the game set an appropriate level for their resolution. DLSS or FSR Frame Generation does not appear to be available with this update. Note that Intel XeSS is not available with this update, preventing users of Intel GPUs from accessing high-quality upscaling.

With Update 43.1, Jujutsu Kaisen has taken over Erangel, updating the game map with themed updates. New melee attacks have been added to the game, including new throws and kicks. These changes will be available until the next PUBG update.

PUBG remains an incredibly popular game on Steam, with the game’s peak player count reaching over 750,000 last night on Steam. Modern upscaling support will let many PC gamers get better visuals or higher performance with their current graphics cards. That’s great news for gamers, especially those with lower-end hardware.
